LETTERS TO DEAR DR. HEALTH
Never Say Never
March 18, 2011

Dear Dr. Health,

Theresa is a new girl who started work in the same office that I work in and I am attracted to her. I got her home number from her employment application and called her up last night. I asked her out for Saturday night and she said that she was busy so I asked her out for the following week and she said she was busy again. I asked her about the following Sunday and she said she had plans so I asked about Monday and she said the same thing. Is there a limit to how many days you can ask a girl out for in one phone call?

Dear T.D.,

Absolutely not. What I would do if I were you is get a calendar before you call her again and simply go day by day until you find a day when she's free. She is obviously very popular and don't be surprised if you have to go through quite a few years worth of days to find an open one but when you do, I think it will be more than worth the time spent and there's a strong chance that a hot and heavy romance will follow. And please don't fall for any of those likely pleas to stop bothering her, or vulgarities (which are subconsciously meant to turn you on) or hanging up on you and other probable antics.  It's just the old "playing hard to get" routine.  I've seen it a million times.  Don't give up on this.  I think you've got a hold of a live one. And remember son, I really care
